Although I really like this machine, especially because of the integrated coffee damper, I have now had two of these within a week. The first one I got to use for a while until I realised the pressure gauge was not working – spoke to amazon who arranged replacement next working day – Second one I am also having having to return as the no water came out of the machine, despite talking directly to Delonghi Technical support, they could only suggest that I return for replacement or refund, a refund it will be – off to buy a Sage Machine. AS I say disappointed as its a good machine, with good reviews, just not mine (both of them)

I find this coffee machine to be a bit more complex than any of my previous machines. It can be challenging to get it to the “optimal zone,” especially since this seems to vary depending on the coffee beans I use. However, it produces excellent coffee and heats up quickly. While I haven’t yet mastered all of its settings, it has produced the best cappuccino at home and even surpasses most coffee shops. The machine is larger than I initially thought, but this isn’t a problem given the quality of coffee it can make. Arrived fast, and packaged excellently. The only downside I see is that since its arrival, I don’t feel the need for an afternoon nap anymore.

If you want ease over ability to adjust, then this is probably for you. It looks good (which is important) and is very easy to use.
Given another chance to buy, I’d go back to the Sage machines.

What exactley have I purchased? I thought I was buying a new unused coffee machine. It looks new and of high quality however there are concerns. 1) the packageing. It came in a cardboard box that was part open ,damaged and held together with Amazon tape. Not in a makers bow with cusioning.. 2) It as now paperwork for setting up ,operating or guarentee.3) I have no suppliers paperwork for proof of purchase. What else is missing? Have I been dumped with a bad deal?
