The STARBUCKS Blonde Espresso Roast Nespresso Capsules (80 count) sound like a good option for you if you enjoy light roast espresso, use a Nespresso® Original machine, and prefer the convenience of pre-portioned capsules. Here’s a breakdown of the pros and cons to help you decide:
Pros:
- Nespresso® Original Compatible: Works with your Nespresso® Original machine for convenient use.
- Blonde Roast: Generally offers a lighter body, brighter acidity, and more subtle flavors compared to darker roasts.
- Starbucks Brand: A popular coffee brand known for its consistent roast profiles.
- Bulk Pack (80 Count): Offers a good amount of capsules at a potentially lower price per cup compared to smaller packs.
Cons:
- Limited Flavor Description: The description doesn’t mention specific flavor notes for this blonde roast.
- Unknown Intensity Level: There’s no mention of the intensity level on a scale (e.g., Nespresso’s 1-11 scale).
- Nespresso® Pod System Cost: Generally more expensive per cup compared to using fresh ground coffee.
Overall, the STARBUCKS Blonde Espresso Roast Pod Pack could be a good option for you if:
- Use a Nespresso® Original machine: These pods are compatible with your machine.
- Enjoy lighter roast coffee: You prefer a brighter and more acidic coffee flavor profile.
- Appreciate the Starbucks brand: You enjoy the Starbucks taste profile.
- Want convenient capsules: You prefer the ease of pre-measured coffee pods.
However, if you:
- Prefer specific flavor profiles: More information about the tasting notes (citrusy, nutty, etc.) would be helpful. Reviews might be limited for this specific capsule.
- Need to know exact strength: The intensity level is not specified.
- Are on a tight budget: Nespresso® pods are generally more expensive than fresh ground coffee.
Here are some additional things to consider:
- Research Online Reviews: See if reviews mention the flavor profile, intensity level, and taste notes in more detail.
- Alternatives: Explore other Nespresso® compatible blonde roast capsules with detailed flavor descriptions. You might also find value packs from other brands that offer similar light roast profiles at a potentially lower cost per capsule. Consider refillable pod options for your Nespresso® machine if you desire greater control over the coffee, potentially a lower cost per cup, and are eco-conscious about single-use capsules. These refillable pods sometimes allow you to experiment with your own preferred coffees.

For comparison, my Waitrose charges about £4 per sleeve.
* the pack of 8 sleeves typically come in a cardboard other box (then in an Amazon shipping bag). This is great. However, sometimes they don’t (note: it says packaging may vary). Just check over your shipment for any damage. On very rare occasions, I get a few malformed capsules (from shipping damage) that will not work in the Nespresso machine.

It’s coffee, it has a good taste, no bitter or sour aftertaste, to mix with water, to drink either with or without milk or milk substitutes and the price was good, compared with the supermarket price.
