The MeelioCafe 350ML French Press appears to be a well-equipped option for brewing small batches of French press coffee. Here’s a breakdown of its features and some things to consider before you buy:
Features:
- Compact Size: Brews up to 12 ounces (350ml) of coffee, ideal for a single serving or small households.
- Double-Walled Insulation: Made of 18/8 stainless steel with a double-walled design to keep your coffee hot for longer.
- Stainless Steel Construction: Durable and shatter-resistant compared to glass carafes.
- Includes Extras: Comes with a coffee measuring spoon and 2 extra filter screens, providing good value.
- Heat Resistant: Suitable for hot or cold beverages.
Important Considerations:
- Small Capacity: Not ideal if you need to brew coffee for multiple people.
- Price: Compare the price to other similar French press options to see if it offers good value.
- Brand Reputation: MeelioCafe might be a lesser-known brand compared to some established French press manufacturers. Consider reading reviews to get a better sense of the quality and durability.
Overall, the MeelioCafe 350ML French Press is a viable option for brewing a single serving of French press coffee. The small size, stainless steel build, and included extras make it a convenient choice for personal use. However, if you need a larger capacity or are looking for a well-established brand, there might be other French presses better suited to your needs.
Here are some additional things to consider when purchasing a French press coffee maker:
- Size: Consider how much coffee you typically brew at a time.
- Material: French presses are made from a variety of materials, including glass, stainless steel, and plastic. Consider the pros and cons of each material before you buy.
- Ease of use: Look for a French press that is easy to clean and assemble.
- Filter Screens: Some French presses come with extra filter screens, which is a plus as they can wear out over time.

Instructions say that when pouring out coffee, to turn the arrow towards the spout. I don’t know why they call it an arrow because it is just a shape in the lid (see the Amazon image).
Whatever the case, despite there being not a single Meelio logo on the cafetiere, not anywhere, it is beautifully made (see EDIT above) just as the stainless steel one is, and I’m happy. So happy not to worry about another expensive glass breaking. Maybe, in some eyes, these double walled thermal cafetieres are not as beautiful as the glass ones, but they sure make a lot more sense to buy.
I assume that the alligator clip on the spoon that comes with it to use on a bag of coffee, to keep it closed. As I tightly fold my coffee bags, secure with an elastic band and place the bag inside an airtight container which goes in the fridge, the clip isn’t much use to me. Nevertheless, the spoon is beautifully made, just as the cafetiere is.
By the way, I bought a little sieve on Amazon to strain the coffee dregs. Makes cleaning and disposal easier.

We went for a 600ml which does two decent mugs of coffee. The extra double wall and quality material they used holds the heat, so doesNOT go cold and ensures it pipping hot even after 10mins.

As a result I’ve pressed too hard and spilt coffee out of it on more than one occasion.
