The Pukka Herbs Selection Box (45 sachets, 9 flavors) sounds like a great option if you’re looking for:
- Variety: This box offers a nice selection of 9 different Pukka herbal tea blends, allowing you to explore various flavors and find new favorites.
- Convenience: The individual sachets are perfect for single servings and on-the-go brewing.
- Organic and Eco-Friendly: Pukka is known for its commitment to organic ingredients and eco-friendly practices, which might be important to you.
- Sharing: This selection box is ideal for trying different flavors yourself or sharing with friends and family.
Here’s a breakdown of some pros and cons to consider:
Pros:
- Variety of flavors: Explore flavors like lemon ginger & manuka honey, peppermint & licorice, and elderberry & echinacea.
- Single-serve sachets: Convenient and portable for busy lifestyles.
- Organic ingredients: Pukka uses organic farming practices.
- Eco-friendly packaging: The box is likely recyclable or made with sustainable materials.
- Sharing friendly: Great for trying new flavors with others.
Cons:
- Limited quantity per flavor: With only 5 sachets per flavor, you might not be able to fully experience each blend.
- Unknown flavors: The descriptions (“fiery and zesty,” “refreshing hints,” “fruity power”) might not give you a complete taste profile idea.
- Tea bags vs loose leaf tea: Tea bags may not offer the same complexity of flavors as loose leaf tea.
- Price per cup: While the box might seem affordable, the price per cup might be higher compared to buying larger quantities of your favorite flavors.
Overall, the Pukka Herbs Selection Box could be a good option for you if:
- You’re new to Pukka tea or herbal tea in general: This is a great way to try a variety of flavors and see if you enjoy them.
- Want a convenient and eco-friendly way to enjoy herbal tea: The single-serve sachets and Pukka’s commitment to organic and sustainable practices might be appealing.
- Looking for a gift idea for a tea lover: This selection box offers a nice variety for someone to explore.
However, if you:
- Already know your favorite Pukka tea flavors: It might be more economical to buy them individually in larger quantities.
- Prioritize a strong and complex tea flavor: Loose leaf tea might be a better choice for a more intense taste experience.
Here are some additional things to consider:
- Research online reviews: See what other users mention about the specific flavors included in the box.
- Pukka’s website: The Pukka website might have more detailed descriptions of each tea blend and their flavor profiles.
- Consider loose leaf tea: If you find some flavors you enjoy, you might consider buying them loose leaf in the future for a potentially more flavorful and eco-friendly option in the long run (with a reusable infuser).
I hope this helps you decide whether the Pukka Herbs Selection Box is a good choice for you!

The price of the box was good, considering its size, and the number of sachets you get. The decorations on the box and the presentation of the sachets is excellent, so all in all I’d be leaning towards giving this five stars if it wasn’t for one little niggle…. variety.
It looks like there are 12 pockets for the sachets, so you might thing there were 12, or even six varieties of tea. However once you start raking through them, you find that there are actually only five varieties of tea (at least there were only five varieties in our box). Given that a few of the varieties are pretty standard, that means you really only have two or three “specialty” teas, and the rest are just nicely packaged normal teas.
If the box had one or two more unusual varieties this would be absolutely perfect. But even though there are 45 sachets, at least 30 of them are teas you’d probably already have. So you’re paying a pound per unusual sachet (really). I guess that’s how they make the box so inexpensive, by filling it out with less expensive teas…
Otherwise, this is a lovely pack, and the variety is good enough that it’d keep most people really happy.
